Installation and Support

Our 2.4kW Off-Grid Solar System comes with comprehensive installation instructions and access to our dedicated support team. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or prefer professional installation, we're here to help every step of the way.
  • Orders are processed within 72 hours
  • Orders are shipped either by ground or freight depending on the size of the order and will arrive within 3 to 10 business days depending on your location
  • All tracking information will be communicated to you for proper tracking
  • Returns accepted for 30 days as long as all items are in their original packaging and condition. It is very important for them to be in their original packaging due to possible risks or hazards during the shipping and handling process
  • Customer provides return shipping cost
  • If any products are damaged upon arrival, you MUST notate this on the courier delivery note and take pictures. Provide these pictures to Solartap as soon as possible, but no later than 12 hours after delivery. If the freight company is not notified within 24 hours, they may deny the claim.
  • Up to a 40% restocking fee may apply depending on the condition and packaging of the original items that we receive back

Are any additional materials or hardware necessary for installation?

This solar kit will have the components you will need for most scenarios. However, depending on your setup, additional wire or connectors might be necessary depending on the orientation and distance of your panels to your inverter. Unless added with accessories, you will need appropriate mounting hardware for your specific environment. You will also need basic hardware tools for installation that can typically be purchased at a local home hardware store. If you have any questions, please reach out to us and we'd be more than happy to help.

How do I determine the size of the solar panel kit I need?

Calculate your daily energy consumption in watt-hours and then choose a kit that can produce and store enough energy to meet your needs on a daily or back up basis. You can reference our off-grid solar calculator for reference in sizing a system for your needs.

Is there a warranty on the components?

All of our solar panels have a 25 year manufacturer warranty and batteries have a 10 year manufacturer warranty unless otherwise noted in the product description above. Solartap provides all customers lifetime support for any installation or maintenance questions related to your purchase.

Can the system be expanded in the future?

Our off-grid solar kits are designed to be scalable by adding additional batteries and/or solar panels. Depending on the system and inverter capacity, occasionally an additional inverter might need to be introduced depending on how many panels are being added.

Are there any incentives or rebates for installing an off-grid solar panel kit?

Various government incentives and rebates may be available, depending on your location. Check with local authorities or energy providers to confirm what might be available in your specific location.

How long until I receive my order?

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days as long as materials are returned in their original packaging and arrive back to us safely and intact. The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
